Optimics - who we are

  • A thirty-member international team based in Holešovice, Prague, specializing in marketing and advertising technologies, digital analytics, and data.

  • We are the only full-stack Google partner in the Czech Republic and partners with several other companies (Adobe, Meiro, SAS).

  • We design and implement custom solutions for our clients (often industry leaders), ranging from MarTech and AdTech tool architecture to effective use of first-party data, server-side measurement, and advanced cloud solutions (GCP) with machine learning and AI.

  • We are not backed by big investors and are not built for sale. We aim for Optimics to remain fully in our hands and to create something that transcends ourselves - we play the “infinity game.”

Why we are looking for a new team member and where you fit in

  • Thanks to our full-stack partnership with Google, we receive strong support from their side (we often get access to new developments before they hit the market), but most importantly, we have a large pipeline of leads and customers that we can and want to work with. Our goal is to deliver the best from our Menu of Services and strategically advance their digital maturity.

  • Some specific advanced solutions we’ve delivered recently include dynamic creative generation, profit-based bidding, and AI-powered product name and description generation.

  • More and more of our solutions for customers revolve around Google Cloud Platform, advanced analytics, and AI.

  • We need you to take charge of this technological area and help us shape and develop its vision.

  • A significant part of your time will involve working on real projects and solutions - you’ll be handling some of the most technically complex and advanced issues for clients, and together with the team, you’ll figure out how to design, solve, and deliver them.

  • At the same time, you’ll have enough time for the “discovery phase,” learning new things, and then sharing your knowledge with the rest of the team.

  • This role has been a key part of Optimics for some time. It has become vacant because two of our colleagues, after years with us, decided to pursue new challenges and explore other areas in the market.

What skills you will need

  • A visionary, exploratory, and mentoring mindset.

  • Excellent knowledge of cloud environments, ideally Google Cloud Platform, with hands-on experience in designing solutions (certification is a big plus).

  • Understanding of data management in general, as well as marketing-specific data (performance, web, campaigns, etc.) and business data (revenue, margins, etc.).

  • Proficiency in English - communication within the company and with clients often takes place in English, and you’ll use it almost daily.

  • Proactivity - we’ll discuss priorities, company goals, and ongoing projects, but we won’t tell you exactly what to do. It’s up to you to shape your role over time to make the most sense.

  • And most importantly, don’t be toxic, don’t act like a jerk, speak openly about issues, and work with the team to achieve common goals.
